BA IN Ministry leadership - cohort

The Bachelor of Arts in Ministry Leadership is designed to provide students with a strong biblical, theological, and practical foundation for Christian leadership and ministry. Through a sequence of eight seminars, students develop competency in biblical interpretation, theology, church ministry, evangelism, preaching, church history, and spiritual formation.

Each seminar integrates biblical scholarship with practical ministry application, equipping students to faithfully lead, teach, disciple, and serve in the local church and beyond. Students are encouraged to cultivate spiritual maturity, servant leadership, and a lifelong commitment to the authority of God's Word.

Seminar 1: Biblical Interpretation

Students learn the foundational principles of interpreting Scripture using sound hermeneutical methods. Emphasis is placed on observation, interpretation, application, literary context, historical background, and faithful exposition of God's Word.

Seminar 2: Biblical Theology

This seminar explores the unfolding story of God's redemptive plan throughout Scripture. Students examine major biblical themes and develop a theological framework for faithful Christian leadership and ministry.

SEMINAR 1 & 2

Seminar 4: The Ministry of the Church

Students examine the biblical mission, purpose, and practices of the local church. Topics include discipleship, worship, evangelism, fellowship, pastoral care, and servant leadership within the body of Christ.

Christmas Break

A scheduled academic recess provides students with time for spiritual renewal, family, and preparation for the second half of the academic year.

Seminar 5: New Testament Survey

This seminar provides an overview of the New Testament, emphasizing the life and ministry of Jesus Christ, the growth of the early Church, and the theological message of each New Testament book.

Seminar 6: History of Christianity from Acts

Students trace the expansion of Christianity from the Book of Acts through the development of the early Church and its continuing influence on Christian history and ministry today.

Seminar 7: Theology of Spiritual Warfare

This seminar examines the biblical doctrine of spiritual warfare and prepares students to minister with discernment, prayer, and confidence in God's power. Students explore biblical strategies for spiritual victory and effective ministry in the midst of spiritual opposition.

Seminar 8: Evangelistic Teaching and Preaching

Students develop practical skills in communicating the gospel through biblical teaching and expository preaching. Emphasis is placed on sermon preparation, evangelistic proclamation, biblical application, and effective communication in diverse ministry settings.
