the conference strategic focus
On Preaching:
The conference seeks to strengthen faithful, Christ-centered preaching that is rooted in Scripture and relevant to today’s world. Through teaching, examples, and discussions, participants will explore how to interpret the Bible carefully and communicate it clearly to the church. The focus is on preaching that forms disciples, nourishes congregations, and points people to the hope of the gospel. Our desire is to encourage preachers to proclaim God’s Word with conviction, humility, and pastoral sensitivity in every ministry context.
On Leadership:
Healthy churches require leaders who are spiritually grounded, biblically shaped, and missionally focused. This conference will reflect on the nature of Christian leadership as servant leadership modeled after Christ. Participants will engage with principles that help leaders guide congregations with wisdom, integrity, and courage. Emphasis will be placed on character formation, pastoral care, and the responsibility of leading communities in faithful witness. The goal is to strengthen leaders who can shepherd God’s people faithfully in changing and challenging contexts.
On equipping:
The conference also aims to equip pastors, ministry leaders, and emerging servants of the church with practical tools for effective ministry. Through teaching sessions and shared experiences, participants will gain insights that support preaching, discipleship, and mission in their local contexts. Attention will be given to developing skills, deepening theological understanding, and encouraging collaboration among leaders. Our hope is that those who attend will leave strengthened, encouraged, and better prepared to serve the church and advance God’s mission.
